ADOT Transit Maintenance Technicians Roadeo

April 21 – 22, 2012

ADOT Transit Maintenance Technicians Roadeo
Sat/Sun, April 21 & 22
ADOT Training Workshops & Maintenance Roadeo

Education, training, and skills competition will include as many as eight sessions, tailored with the flexibility of a diverse group of competitors for a “fair and balanced” competition!

• Alternators (large and small)
• Wheel chair lifts
• Battery testing
• Cummins engines
• Slack Adjusters
• A/C
• Tires
• Multiplexing systems

Each session will include critical training and education by technicians who are expertly qualified to provide in-depth information and answer key questions to their system.  Competitors will complete written and/or hands-on skills test specific to the training session.  Not all participants may do the same sessions, but each session will be designed over the two day period to raise the technical competence of each participant.

Enjoy lunch on Saturday and Sunday with competitors and the session trainers/instructors; on Sunday evening, join everyone at the awards banquet for a competitors celebration and awards ceremony.  As a bonus during each meal, be prepared for presentations from industry leaders on the “state of transit maintenance”!

This is a first time ever event that you will want to attend!
