Arizona Transit Association (AzTA) launches new web site.Posted: Jan 31, 2006
TEMPE, Ariz. – The Arizona Transit Association has launched a new web site www.azta.org. The purpose of the new web presence is to appeal more directly to local governments, chambers of commerce, major employers, transit program operators, transit suppliers, contractors, small businesses, non-profit community agencies, and transportation consultants - with particular emphasis on providing timely actionable information to members. The redesigned website has laid a sound foundation for the AzTA to streamline and manage its online presence. The new web site allows the AzTA staff to better communicate and provide alerts for advocacy, and allows the AzTA to inform members with useful and relevant public transportation information easily and effectively.
About the AzTA
“AzTA’s mission is to support, educate and strengthen transportation systems within the state of Arizona,” John Anderson, AzTA Executive Director said. “This is a terrific opportunity for transit professionals to share information and communicate with one another.” As part of the web site launch, AzTA is soliciting pictures and images of various transit services from Arizona transit providers. To submit a picture for the web site, visit www.azta.org for image requirements.
