This is an exceptional opportunity to become the Human Resources Manager in the Mountain Line Transit Authority, a highly rated agency located in Flagstaff, Arizona. The Human Resources Division is part of the Management Services Department, which includes the divisions of Human Resources, Accounting, IT, and Paratransit Eligibility functions. The Division of Human Resources mission is to partner with Mountain Line’s departments to maximize the potential of employees-the agency’s greatest asset. The Human Resources Department is responsible for managing the agency’s recruitment efforts, employee retention, benefit administration, hiring and onboarding of new employees, employee relations, policy development, discipline process, performance evaluation, compliance, organizational development, training, and management of leave programs. 

Mountain Line is looking for a manager with knowledge of the basic principles of HR administration, HR procedures, federal regulations regarding employment, and labor laws including in-depth knowledge of FMLA and worker’ compensation. The manager should be an excellent communicator, an effective collaborator and network builder, takes risks and innovates, and develops creative solutions. 

A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course in human resources management, personnel administration, or a closely related field is required, in addition to a minimum of three years of prior similar work experience.
