Temp Transit Operator (On-Call)

 Compensation: $15.62 - $21.01

General Description/Information

The City of Peoria is seeking a driver (with a Commercial Driver’s License) to supplement current Transit staff during absences or high demand.

Responsibilities/Duties

This individual would be called upon when the need for a driver arises, and shifts might be from a single day to a full week. The service is only Monday through Friday and the shifts start as early as 6:00am with a latest end time of 5:15pm.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School Graduation or Equivalency
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Valid Arizona Class “C” Driver’s License (with Passenger Endorsement)
