Managing Stress in a World Full of Change

This is a PAST event.

July 16, 2020

So much has changed in our lives in the past 10 – 20 years. Do you remember going to develop your film? When is the last time you heard a busy signal? Changes in one’s life can be devastating and exciting – depending on how the person addresses those changes. This workshop will teach participants the difference between good stress and bad stress and the dangers involved in not managing bad stress – not only from a work perspective, but also in their personal lives.

Topics in this session will include:

· Exploring what has and has not changed over the past two decades

· Understanding how change affects YOU personally

· Learning about typical responses to stress and change, and how to reprogram thoseresponses

· Exploring ways of alleviating stress

· Learning how communication affects our perception of stress and conflict

This session is presented by Dale Knutson, Director of the Port Authority Operations University, Pittsburgh, PA
