FTA News: OMB Extends Comment Period for Input on the Build America, Buy America Act to June 6, 2022
On April 21, 2022, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) published a request for information seeking input on construction materials produced in the United States to help develop a final standard for infrastructure projects funded with Federal financial assistance under Build America, Buy America. The notice also sought input on behalf of the FAR Council on a definition for “end product manufactured in the United States,” for incorporation into the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
The deadline for submitting comments has been extended from May 23, 2022 to June 6, 2022 to provide additional time for interested parties to provide comments. Comments may be submitted at Regulations.gov [Docket OMB-2022-0005].
